Muhsin (49), a native of Thrissur Anchangadi, who was stranded on the roadside without a visa or passport or accommodation, was brought home with the help of social workers.
He was able to be brought home after the intervention of Salam Pappinissery, CEO of Yab Legal Services in UAE, and social workers Siyaf Mattanchery, Rahima Shaneed and Dubai KMCC worker Naufal, Shariah KMCC workers and Ajman Inkas Workers. In March 2023, Muhsin, who had arrived on a visitor visa to look for work, lost his passport and other documents after his bag was stolen. Due to this, it was not possible to renew the visa or get a job. As he was unable to pay the rent, he had to leave the accommodation.
Then Muhsin was staying in the park near Saudi Mosque in Sharjah for 4 months and social workers could know his miseries and helped him. In order to get Muhsin out of the problems, who had an accumulated huge fine amount due to his overstay, police clearance certificate was issued and supported to contact the Indian Consulate to get outpass and waive the fine amount and obtain an outpass from Aweer Immigration. Other assistance, including air ticket was provided by Salam Papinissery and Muhsin flew home in the Air India Express flight that left Dubai for Kochi this evening.
